Assistant Vice President, Air Traffic Services, Learning

As of May 2023, Kevin holds the position of Assistant Vice President (AVP) of the Air Traffic Services (ATS) Learning department at NAV CANADA. He oversees curriculum development, course delivery via the seven regional schools, business services, regulatory compliance, and strategic training initiatives.

From 2010 to 2023, he was with Airports Council International (ACI) and was vice president of global assessments and training from 2020 to 2023.

At ACI, he led the airport education programs, ICAO training cooperation, and Airport Excellence (APEX) safety, security, and environmental peer assessment programs.

Additionally, he served as the Secretary to the ACI Fund for Developing Nations; the Fund’s prime purpose is to aid members in developing nations with learning and development needs.

From 2003 to 2010, he held several training management positions in civil aviation, security, and airports with the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Before IATA, he served in various operational roles with Aéroports de Montréal from 1995 to 2003 in terminal operations, airside safety, security, public affairs, and community relations.

He teaches airport management at McGill University and holds an MBA from the University of Fredericton and a post-graduate certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from Cornell University.
