After a career of business training outside the Grupo Puntacana, he joined the executive functions within this institution in 2003.  Leadership, pragmatism and innate business vision are some of his qualities, complemented by a clear conviction of business growth under sustainable, innovative practices and current trends.

He graduated from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island with a B.A. in Economics and Finance and later earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Boston University. In 2003 he took over the Real Estate Sales Division, making it one of the pillars of the company due to the percentage of revenues that this area represents and the remarkable and planned growth it has experienced over time to date.

Ten years later, in 2013, he assumed the role of Vice President of Business, and in parallel, the Direction of Punta Cana International Airport, which under strategic planning, efficient management and responsible investment, has proudly been chosen for 7 consecutive years as the best airport in Latin America in the range of five to fifteen million passengers.

With a high sense of corporate social responsibility, he formed the Real Estate Company Hoyo Claro Developing Group Inc., a developer of affordable social housing, among them, Ciudad La Palma, with a community of 1,000 homes to date, Ciudad Cayena with 1,800 homes and Ciudad Caracolí, the most recent real estate development of this type under this model.

In the communications sector, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Editora Bávaro S.A., owner of Bávaro News, a newspaper with circulation in the Eastern Zone. In the restaurant sector, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the fast-food franchise Wendy’s, Pizza Hut and Chili’s, represented in the country by the company Raya Food Dominicana, S.A., which represent 10,000 active jobs throughout the country.

He has been recognized by the Youth Parliament as “Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2007”, within the framework of the Youth Merit Awards, under the motto “Effort, Progress, Talent and Improvement”. In October 2015, he was recognized by the digital tourism magazine REPORTUR MX as one of the 12 most promising Latin tourism leaders. In 2012-2013 he chaired the Board of Directors of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Dominican Republic (ANJE).

In May 2018, the prestigious Roger Williams University, his Alma Mater, distinguished him with an Honorary Doctorate Degree.  He is also a Member of the Board of this prestigious institution. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Pontificia Universidad Madre y Maestra de la República Dominicana (PUCMM). In October 2019, he was recognized as “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Real Estate Entrepreneurs Club. Under a leadership of innovative character and strategic thinking, he holds the position of President & CEO of the Grupo Puntacana.
